We provide beginners with the opportunity to experience the thrill of exploring the underwater world under the supervision of professional instructors. These lessons offer a safe and controlled introduction to diving techniques and equipment, allowing participants to discover the beauty of Wailea’s marine life even without prior certification.
A short teaching session in our shaded classroom is followed by a water skills lesson in our 10 foot deep dive pool to provide a relaxing environment for our new divers. Divers will then go directly from the pool and then dive in the ocean on our House Reef.
Participants will review a few basic Scuba/water safety topics in our shaded classroom, then have a brief experience breathing on SCUBA in the shallow end of our pool. The Demo is a great opportunity to try Scuba diving and determine if you enjoy it before booking your ocean dive.
This is great for kids ages 8-9 who aren’t old enough for the DSD. Parents are welcome to join too! After a quick safety presentation in the shaded classroom, divers gear up and head to the pool to play with a variety of toys and games underwater.
Due to improving safety standards in the State of Hawaii, we are now requiring all divers to complete a medical questionnaire prior to any dive trip. This is our way to verify that no guest has any health contradictions that may prevent them from safely diving with us and other guests. Some health contradictions may require approval by a physician prior to diving. Please review the form to check if you will require a physician’s approval.
