Alii Nui’s Snorkel Sail Deluxe offers snorkel stops at two of Maui’s most vibrant reefs, Molokini crater and Turtle Arches in South Maui. You can participate in a guided “snorkel safari” with our trained water specialist.
Snorkel 101
Snorkeling demo is given to any individuals with all levels of experience. Included in the price of your charters is all snorkeling and flotation equipment, including premium silicon masks, snorkels, and fins, boogie boards, flotation belts, water noodles, wet suit tops, optical masks, and large terry beach towels. Once you have had your fill of snorkeling, enjoy a refreshing “rinse-off” shower with one of four heated fresh-water showers.
Trip location can be subject to change due to weather and ocean conditions, as the Captain sees fit for the safety and well being of the guests.
About Molokini
Molokini is a marine reserve with spectacular water clarity and a pristine coral reef. Rated one of the best snorkeling spots in the world, this reef has a variety of beautiful reef fish and animals. More than 400 varieties of fish are found in the Hawaiian waters and more than 25% of these are endemic, they are found only in Hawaii. Occasionally we see dolphins, Whales, Manta rays, and Hawaiian Monk seals.
About Turtle Arches
Turtle Arches offers a pristine coral reef system nestled at the base of Pu’u Olai (Red Hill) near Makena State Park. The caverns and ledges in the coral and lava create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp. The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that call this area home.
Huka Diving is a unique way to enjoy the wonderful underwater world. You don’t need to be certified or take classes. This is a surface supplied air system that allows the participant to dive 10-15 ft below the surface. You must be 16 years of age or older and pass a medical review. Ages 10-15 available with Private Divemaster.
Open Water certified divers are welcome to join us for a one tank dive into the beautiful waters of Molokini.
A full breakfast, mid-morning snack and full lunch, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, will be served on board throughout the excursion. A selection of domestic & craft beers, premium red & white wines and champagne are also included (ID required for alcohol consumption and for your safety.)
Leave the driving to us! Experience the comfort and ease of our transportation service available from most South and West side resort areas. Our comfortable vans will pick up and return you to your hotel or condo in style. This service is based on space available.
A short teaching session in our shaded classroom is followed by a water skills lesson in our 10 foot deep dive pool to provide a relaxing environment for our new divers. Divers will then go directly from the pool and then dive in the ocean on our House Reef.
Experience this unique Whale Watch Dive & Snorkel in Wailea, HI! Join us aboard the Maka Koa, our 48′ V-Hull jet engine boat, for an intimate whale watching experience. Each winter, the humpback whales visit the waters surrounding Maui, which is a National Marine Sanctuary for these endangered whales.
Explore Molokini, HI’s Interior and Backwall on this scuba trip! Our destination is the world famous Molokini Crater, a marine reserve below water and bird sanctuary above. This dive is the perfect opportunity to see the full extent of Molokini as we dive at both ends of the Crater!
