Requirements:
A short teaching session in our shaded classroom is followed by a water skills lesson in our 10 foot deep dive pool to provide a relaxing environment for our new divers. Divers will then go directly from the pool and walk down to the beach where they will experience an amazing dive in the ocean on our House Reef. Dive gear will be transported to the beach by the instructor. Cost includes all rental gear.
After completing training, enjoy another dive at either one of the house reefs or one of the two off-site reefs!
This is great for kids ages 8-9 who aren’t old enough for the DSD. Parents are welcome to join too! After a quick safety presentation in the shaded classroom, divers gear up and head to the pool to play with a variety of toys and games underwater.
This free demo for guests of the Grand Wailea Resort will provide a review of basic snorkel gear as well as water safety topics. Guests will have an opportunity to practice with snorkel gear in our dive pool with an instructor. Cost includes all rental gear.
Participants will review a few basic Scuba/water safety topics in our shaded classroom, then have a brief experience breathing on SCUBA in the shallow end of our pool. The Demo is a great opportunity to try Scuba diving and determine if you enjoy it before booking your ocean dive.
